Safety & Sea Survival Course
To be held at the Royal Motor Yacht Club Clubrooms, 2-3 December, 46 Prince Alfred Parade, Newport, NSW 2106.

PARTICIPANT INFORMATION SHEET
Training covers the requirements of World Sailing Special Regulation 6.01 Appendix G for Category Zero, One and Two yacht races globally. You will receive an RYA /ISAF certificate and AS certification on course completion. 
 
GENERAL INFORMATION
The full course runs over two days as noted above. The theory sessions will be held at RMYC as above. The wet drills will take place on Sunday Morning at a place to be determined at 0745 You will have to make your own way between venues.
There will be tea and coffee making facilities available.
The syllabus delivered meets the requirements of World Sailing and the MCA/RYA as well as Australian Yacht Racing Authorities. You will be provided with a comprehensive set of course notes and handouts on arrival.
Your instructor/s are Cape Horn veterans with extensive Southern Ocean/severe weather sailing experience.
Meet at the RMYC premises for a 0745 start on Saturday.

DO NOT PURCHASE PFD”S, HARNESSESS OR TETHERS PRIOR TO ATTENDING THIS COURSE.

Pittwater to Southport

 

The Pittwater to Paradise Regatta will be starting on Sydney's Pittwater,  1 hour drive north from Sydney's CBD on January 2, 2018 and run through to 9 January, 2018.

The ocean race offers competitors a strategic challenge as they race between the surfline and the current, past unsurpassed scenic coastlines, prior to arriving in one of Queensland's most popular coastal cities. Once on the Gold Coast boats will enjoy a four day series regatta hosted by the Southport Yacht Club.
