The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club (RPAYC) is hosting the first leg of the annual Club Marine Pittwater to Paradise Regatta open to both monohull and multihull vessels. The 370 nautical mile race, will offer competitors a strategic challenge as they race between the surf line and the southerly current, past the scenic NSW coastline, prior to crossing the border and arriving on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

The Club Marine Pittwater to Paradise Regatta will start at 1300hrs (1pm) on Saturday 2 January 2019 at the entrance of Broken Bay, Pittwater. Spectator vantage points are at Barrenjoey Lighthouse, West Head and headlands all the way up to Southport on the Queensland Gold Coast. Alternatively you can follow the fleet online with the event’s tracking system which can be found through the website : www.pittwatertoparadise.com.au 

Free berthing is available prior to the race at RPAYC and post race at SYC. The Goldcoast offers a number of family friendly activities and adventures, why not make it the summer holiday destination for 2019. A number of discounts are on offer to theme parks and accomodation sites care of SYC. 

Once in Southport competitors are invite to part take in Southport Yacht Club’s Sail Paradise which is a four day event packed full of racing and entertainment. Race 1 (Ocean Race) will form part of the overall series to Crown the Pittwater to Paradise winner(s).
